These images run OpenSSL’s FIPS 140-3 validated cryptographic provider. Enable FIPS by setting [fips] mode = "enabled" in each service’s configuration. FIPS mode should be enabled only on the -fips images; the standard images do not include the FIPS provider. See FIPS-Compliant Deployment for setup and configuration details.
This Release Contains The Following Changes
- Flux TTS Watermarking (action required) — Flux TTS audio is now watermarked. Flux TTS deployments must add the watermarker model file (
watermarker.<uuid>.dgv2, provisioned alongside your Flux TTS models) and setwatermarker_uuidunder[flux_tts]in your Engine configuration. Engine will not start with Flux TTS enabled if the watermarker is missing. Helm users must setfluxTts.watermarkerUuid: chart upgrades, includinghelm upgrade --reuse-values, fail at render time until it is set. See Watermarking for details. - Removed Whisper Support — Engine no longer supports Whisper models. Deployments using Whisper should migrate to Nova-3 before upgrading.
- FIPS Image Metrics and Certificates — Engine FIPS images now report metrics with the
engine_prefix and serve/v1/certificatescorrectly, matching the standard images. - Formatting Improvements
- Numerals formatting now supports Japanese (
language=ja), with eithernumerals=trueorsmart_format=true. - Spoken letters are no longer dropped from entities that are mostly numbers. For example, “W one two three” is now transcribed as
W123instead of123. - Improved Aura-2 reading of German numbers, dates, and measurements, and of Japanese numbers, dates, and currency.
- Numerals formatting now supports Japanese (
- General Improvements — security fixes in the API base image and dependency updates. Keeps our software up-to-date.
